C.P. Environmental, Inc. was founded in the southwest suburbs of Chicago by industry veterans Tim Carr and Jim Petrie. The original business is set up to supply filter bags and other dust collector replacement parts for baghouses used in the steel, foundry and cement industries. The company also offers scheduled and preventative maintenance and repair services including the installation of baghouse replacement parts.
The company purchases the assets of EVO Systems, a former dust collector equipment manufacturer. The new business, known as C.P. Environmental Filters Inc. is the dust collector design and manufacturing arm of the company. The combined businesses have now evolved to include design and fabrication of custom and private-labeled dust collection and related equipment in addition to their roots in aftermarket dust collection parts and maintenance services. The combined companies offer a total solution approach.
