Nuisance Dust Collectors
Self-contained units for a single machine or a localised dust source — no ductwork, no central system, no plant-wide project.
Product overview
When the Problem Is One Machine, Not the Whole Plant
We build from 400 CFM upward, so a single machine is a job we will take. Not every dust problem justifies a central system. A single bagging station, one grinder, a transfer point that has always been dusty — these need a collector sized for the source, sited next to it, and running only when that machine runs.
Nuisance collectors are self-contained: fan, filter, and dust container in one housing, connected by a short hood or flexible arm rather than a duct network. They install in hours rather than weeks and can be relocated when the plant layout changes.
The limitation is scale. Where you have several sources, ducting them to one properly sized collector is nearly always cheaper to own than several small units, and gives better capture.

Common questions
FAQs
When is a nuisance collector the wrong choice?
When you have more than two or three sources. Several small collectors cost more to own and maintain than one properly sized central unit, and each one is a separate filter change, a separate container to empty, and a separate point of failure.
Do these handle combustible dust?
Only with appropriate protection, and the small housing volume makes protection design more constrained rather than less. Woodworking and metal dusts in particular need a considered answer, not a catalogue unit.
